Today was one of those days where I was moving from start to finish. I woke up at 5:00am, like I have been trying to do regularly, but couldn't write because I needed to do prep work for a meeting I was going to be co-facilitating later in the day. My shift started at 9:00am, and lasted until 6:30pm, after which I was reminded of the social night with food and drinks that I had helped to plan was happening tonight. This just ended at 9:30pm.
So.
I don't have the energy for solid reflective writing tonight. What I do have the energy for is a blueberry bagel with cream cheese and honey at 10pm, and maybe a few sentences in my book before I completely crash.
But honestly, as long as they end on a good note, I kind of like that accomplished feeling that comes after a long day. I imagine all the action and emotion that my singular body set into motion throughout the day—all the physical things my two hands placed and organized and prepared and folded and wrote and cleaned etc. It would be so interesting to watch myself in high speed to see how the environment around me is changed by my actions.
These are the things I think about as I am falling asleep typing. Keep peace and keep creating,
Parker <3
