Thinking about body language and silence this morning, so I reworked an old poem to create a new poem about it. Check them both out below. :)

an instant metamorphosis

a momentary identity crisis

but sound ends in silence

"endless conversation"

silence speaks loud

but often shifts to sound

if it is able

an instant metamorphosis

and frequent identity crisis

as sound covers silence

you cover ears

and use hands, eyes, nose,

and mouth

to listen

while body speaks first

while words last

only a moment

and silence perpetuates

endless conversation
